Kinesis UK’s new Lyfe e-Bike line lands with Upgrade Bikes

Kinesis UK has announced the arrival of its first electric bike for the commuter, found under the Lyfe banner.

Built to be a one stop shop electric commuter bike and one that tips the scales at around only 13kg (unequipped), the EbikeMotion X35 assisted Lyfe will offer an estimated 75 kilometre range per charge and three assistance levels tuned in with the help of a top tube iWoc controller. The 250Wh battery is stored inside the downtube.

Rory Hitchens, Upgrade’s marketing manager told CI.N last night: “We’re stepping it up with our electric bike stock levels, but of course in hindsight we might have ordered more. Dealers have been aware this was coming soon and so we are deep into pre-sales ahead of the June 16th landing but, for now, bikes do remain on offer.”

Equipped models come fully loaded with extra equipment for effortless riding. This spec includes mudguards, a kickstand, rack and integrated lights to complete the package.

The first bike, Kinesis UK’s Rise hardtail, came to market in 2019 and has subsequently been joined by the Range drop and flat bar bikes.
