Kryptonite obtains Gold Sold Secure rating on all KryptoLok integrated chains

Allegion brand Kryptonite has surpassed 20 Gold Sold Secure ratings within its lock portfolio with the news that its KrpytoLok family now all come with the high security stamp.

Bicycle retailers are now able to off a portfolio of flexible chains meeting the strict criteria for “ultimate security”. Those making the grade include the KryptoLok 955, 995, 912, 915 and 917 integrated chains.

“Receiving a gold rating from Sold Secure for our moderate security chains is exciting as we now have a clean sweep of gold ratings for our chains from our moderate security to our ultimate security (10/10) offerings,” said Ralph Prins, Kryptonite commercial director, Europe. “We understand how important the Sold Secure rating is to our dealers and customers in the United Kingdom and, to our global security rating system, which helps customers choose the best chain security product to meet their needs.”

Sold Secure is an independent testing agency specialising in the security market. The agency attempts to break down a manufacturer’s product using current methods used by thieves to attack security products.

Those making the Gold grade now start at £39.99 for the 955 Mini, £59.99 for the 995 and £74.99 for the 915.

Kryptonite now offers over 50 products with a Sold Secure rating.
