Lime rolls out subscription with flat-rate rides across five UK cities

Lime has launched a revamped subscription model in five UK cities, offering riders flat rates as low as £1 for rides of up to 20 minutes.

By paying a monthly fee, LimePrime subscribers in London, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Manchester and Nottingham can access reduced flat-rate pricing for rides of up to 20 minutes, with rates varying by city to reflect local market conditions and demand patterns.

In London, the subscription costs £6.99 per month, with rides priced at £1.70 for up to 20 minutes. The same monthly fee applies in Milton Keynes, where rides cost £1.60 for up to 20 minutes.

In Oxford, LimePrime is priced at £2.99 per month, with rides costing £1 for trips under five minutes and £1.50 for rides of up to 20 minutes. The subscription also costs £2.99 per month in Manchester (Salford), where rides are priced at £1.50 for up to 20 minutes. In Nottingham, the monthly fee is £1.99, with rides costing £1.00 for up to 20 minutes.

Subscribers can also enjoy unlimited free unlocks, extended 30-minute vehicle reservations and access to flat-rate pricing for friends and family on group rides, where available.

Lime added that the rollout came as the Secretary of State for Transport, Heidi Alexander, underlined the importance of maintaining affordability and accessibility in active and sustainable transport.
