Megamo launches Ryal Enduro eMTB

Megamo has launched the Ryal, a new enduro e-MTB designed to combine mountain bike capability with greater everyday practicality.

The Ryal features 160mm of front and rear suspension travel, the Avinox drive system delivering up to 150Nm of torque and 1,500W peak power, and a removable 800Wh battery designed for easy charging and transport.

The range comprises four aluminium-framed models, suspension platform and removable 800Wh Avinox battery. The models differ in motor specification, suspension components, drivetrain and braking systems. The flagship Ryal 03 AXS is equipped with the M2S motor, Fox Factory suspension, a SRAM S1000 AXS drivetrain and Shimano XT M8220 brakes, while the entry-level Ryal 10 features the M2 motor, RockShox Psylo Silver suspension, a Shimano XT/Deore drivetrain and Shimano MT520 brakes.

Megamo says the removable battery can be charged separately from the bike, making it easier to recharge at home or in the workplace, while also reducing the bike’s weight during transport. The removable design also enables riders to quickly swap batteries when required, such as during long-distance rides or racing.

The Ryal also introduces a new geometry developed for riders seeking genuine mountain bike performance with improved day-to-day usability. Compared with the company’s Reason platform, the bike features a shorter reach, a slacker 64.4° head angle, a higher stack, a shorter wheelbase, slightly longer chainstays, lower standover height and a more compact size S frame.

The Ryal will be showcased at CIN LIVE 2026, which will return to the NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, on 20–21 September 2026, bringing together retailers, workshops, mobile mechanics, distributors, brands, importers and service providers from across the cycling industry.
