Madison to build brand new Shimano Technical Service Centre
Madison will build a new Shimano service centre at its Bradwell Abbey distribution hub, it has been announced.
The facility will serve as an education hub for retail customers to train with the latest tech, complementing the work the distributor’s agents carry out on the road.
Set for an early Autumn opening, a permanent training room is now being built to offer hands-on time with product alongside experienced Shimano experts, so retailers and mechanics can get the information they need and take it back to their respective stores.
Dominic Langan, CEO at Madison, said: “Providing the best consumer experience is key to the success of Shimano and this can only be achieved if the support, knowledge and expertise exists in the marketplace. Madison is investing more and more into education and training as the way to drive brand loyalty and deliver business success.”
All Shimano Service Centre days will take place at the new hub as well as a bi-annual, all-encompassing workshop for latest technologies, two OEM-specific days and NPPs (New Product Presentations).
A full schedule of events will soon be communicated to account holders and information can also be found on the distributor’s B2B.
