Megamo launches new West gravel bike range

Megamo has introduced the latest range of its West gravel bike, introducing a line-up of five models with new features and upgrades.

One of the main features of the new edition is a fully redesigned Superlight Carbon (SL) frame, available in three colourways: Camo, Malva (mauve) and Sand. Lighter, stiffer and more efficient than its predecessor, the frame combines updated geometry for a balance of high-speed stability and agile handling on technical terrain. Tire clearance has been increased to 50 mm, while compatibility with gravel suspension forks and telescopic seatposts ensures the West is ready for everything from competitive racing to multi-day adventures.

The range is topped by a SRAM Force AXS 13-speed build with power meter, followed by models equipped with SRAM Rival AXS and Shimano GRX Di2, offering options that cater to both elite racers and long-distance riders. Performance is further boosted by the inclusion of Zipp 303 XPLR S carbon wheels (54 mm) on select builds, delivering a combination of lightweight efficiency, stiffness and reliability across varied terrain. A clean, aerodynamic look comes courtesy of full internal cable routing, while top-end models add an integrated carbon cockpit for greater rigidity, comfort and gravel-specific control.

The new West has also been re-engineered with racing in mind. A longer reach and a slacker head angle deliver improved stability at high speeds while enhancing aerodynamic performance. For riders seeking versatility, the bike offers greater tire clearance, compatibility with suspension forks and the option of a telescopic seatpost, making it adaptable to a wide variety of conditions and riding styles.

In terms of practicality, riders can benefit from integrated downtube storage and multiple bikepacking mounts, providing added functionality for extended adventures. At the same time, optimised SL carbon construction has reduced overall weight, with a reference build in size M coming in at just 8.65 kg.
