Mission Cycles adds LM Cargo Cycle to product range

Tricycle specialist, Mission Cycles, has launched the latest addition to its product range; the LM Cargo Cycle.

This last mile e-cargo bike has been designed to carry up to 120kg of cargo centrally within its alloy frame, with the 250 watt Samsung Cell electric motor kicking in on the first pedal stroke.

The 36V battery will give between 15-20 miles range depending on the weight it is carrying, equipped with a handy LCD display unit which shows battery power used, current speed, milometer, power level and journey time.

The bike charges within 4-6 hours and has an easy access charge point. Comfort and performance are both a focus, with the bike equipped with Shimano 8 speed gears, hydraulic disc brakes and ‘super soft’ saddle.

Cargo bikes are becoming an increasingly popular choice for carrying out last mile deliveries, particularly in busy urban areas such as cities. The Department for Transport recently announced a £2 million fund for e-cargo bikes, which will contribute up to 20% of the purchase price up to a threshold of £5,000 for companies looking to jump into e-cargo bikes.

While available to be stocked by shops, the LM Cargo Cycle is aimed primarily at businesses looking to utilise e-cargo bikes for their local delivery purposes.
