Moore Large appoints Biggs and Garner to board of directors.
Moore Large has this week announced the appointment of Adam Biggs and Adam Garner to the company’s board of directors, extending the board to six members. The decision to overhaul the board was as much about bringing in the ideas, voices and opinions of a new generation as it was about succession planning and future proofing the business. As part of the board modifications, existing Managing Director Nigel Moore has decided that Deputy Managing Director Steve Caunt should make the step up to MD while he will become the company’s Chairman. Paul Stewart and Dale Vanderplank will continue to head up the National accounts and IBD Divisions with all changes effective immediately.
Joining the board as Brand Director, Adam Garner will bring a rounded and complete understanding of the market, creating the link between product, marketing and sales while also bridging the gap between the brand team and customers. Garner will be responsible for supporting suppliers by coherently relaying their brand messages, encouraging brand ownership within his reshuffled team, consisting of eight dedicated Brand Managers. Each Brand Manager will be able to focus on a smaller list of names, taking complete ownership from the conception of the product to it landing in the customers’ hands.
Adam Biggs will serve as Premium Bicycle Sales Director continuing the positive work he has started since he re-joined Moore Large, instilling dealer commitment working primarily with Forme, Cuda, Bobbin and Tern.
New Managing Director, Steve Caunt commented, “The board welcomes the relevance and empathy that both appointments bring to a changing industry which shows the companies long term intentions to maintain its presence among the industry leaders and evolve with the market.”
