Mountain Mania thieves swipe e-bike, forget head unit and keys

Thieves broke in to Mountain Mania’s Tring branch on Sunday morning swiping two bikes.

Entering the store between 1am and 4am, the break in has resulted in the loss of two bikes; an M Scott Scale 900 RC Pro in black, white and red and a Trek Powerfly 7 17.5” in black.

The thieves may not get far with the loot, explained manager Neil Fitton.

“The powerfly didn’t have the Bosch head unit or keys for the battery,  so anyone trying to use it will need to get both of those things.”
