MyBike mobile mechanic franchise opens in Europe and Mexico

South American mobile mechanic franchise MyBike is to make good on plans announced last year to target Europe.

Speaking to CI.N, boss Andre Jaramilo said that as soon as next month the business will operate 30 vans across Mexico, as well as rolling out fleets in France and Spain.

The Spanish market debuts with two vans servicing Madrid, while in France operations begin within the capital, Paris.

Andre Jaramillo, founder of MyBike Mobile, said: “Your bike will be ready to ride after two clicks, that´s our mission. We want to see millions of bikes return to where they belong, on the roads, mountain trails and tracks”.

To manage the Mexican arm of the business Regina Gutierrez, a local Ironman athlete, is to help develop the franchise, as well as bringing forwards a background in B2B support for last-mile e-Commerce and bicycle brands.

Back in Europe, Samuel Aichouba, the former director of Hutchinson Tires joins the company after a spell away from the bicycle business.

He said: “We want to start the #betterbybike movement and would love the best mechanics and entrepreneurs to join our effort to cover their territory with a MyBike mobile franchise“.
