Neil Tinegate appointed new Science in Sport Group e-Commerce Director

Science in Sport has recruited the help of Neil Tinegate who will now lead the Group’s e-Commerce strategy.

Tinegate brings to the role prior experience from roles including Head of Digital Innovation at Argos, leading sales growth online at the Home Retail Group and roles with EMI Music. Most recently he held the Director of e-Commerce and Product Europe role with beer label Heineken.

Stephen Moon, Science in Sport’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “I am delighted that Neil Tinegate is joining Science in Sport in the important role of Group E-Commerce Director. His track record of driving online growth in international markets for brand-led businesses will be of great value to the Group as we continue on our trajectory of rapid online sales growth.”

As Science in Sport’s Group E-Commerce Director, Neil will hold international responsibility for the strategic and operational aspects of the and websites and for online sales on other platforms. His start date at the Group is 9th of January next year.

Science in Sport has been enjoying recent trading, with the last financial update delivering a 150% rise in group revenues following acquisitions.
