Vorteq expand bike fitting offer, introducing ‘Core Fits’ service

Vorteq Sports has launch a brand new range of Human Performance focused bike fitting services, enabling a wider range of riders to benefit form the expertise the business has developed working with world class athletes.

Free from fitting formulas, each package is Physiotherapy Led and bespoke to the rider; utilizing a combination of technology, techniques, and expertise to result in an unrivalled fit. Following a detailed initial consultation, an informed and comprehensive biomechanical assessment will be conducted to determine fit and functional parameters. This directly informs positional exploration based on the goals of the rider and session.

The expanded bike fit offering – known as ‘Core Fits’ – delivers 3 accessible tiers of service.

Prologue: Pre-purchase Fit (£239)

  • Physiotherapist led session.
  • Designed to inform and guide frame size selection.
  • Includes body positioning analysis and with published post-fit report.

Étape 1: First Fit (£390)

  • Comprehensive physiotherapist led fit to optimize bike position.
  • Includes motion capture and saddle pressure mapping data as well as a physiotherapy assessment to inform positional interventions.

Étape 2: Performance Fit (£359)

  • Designed to optimize pedalling efficiency, stability and ultimately – performance.
  • Tailored to athletes with performance goals, looking to maximize power without sacrificing comfort.

Simon Yates and Matteo Sobrero Giro TT winnersBased at Vorteq’s HQ in Silverstone, utilising the brand new ‘Human Performance Lab’ at Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub, the new ‘Core Fits’ service is available from October 2022, giving access to services developed specifically to enable recreational sporting riders to benefit from knowledge gained through Vorteq’s partnerships with elite sports teams and riders, including the likes of Team BikeExchange-Jayco.
