Nick Gritton appointed new Madison Sales Director

Nick Gritton has been appointed the new Madison Sales Director, having working for the distributor since 2006 in various roles.

Gritton, who prior to joining Madison spent several years in Raleigh’s sales department, will be taking over the role from Bill Baxter. According to a statement from Madison CEO Dominic Langan, Baxter is moving onto pastures new after 31 years with the firm.

Langan commented: “I hope you will all join me in congratulating Nick on his new role and I hope you will all give him your 100% support in making this challenging role a great success and to build on Bill Baxter’s hard work over the many years he has served the business.”

According to Langan, Gritton is highly respected by his colleagues, customers and suppliers alike, with the appointment providing an opportunity for Madison to grow its business further and structure itself for future challenges.

“Nick brings a high level of energy to the role and will breathe fresh air into our sales strategies,” Langan added. “It is also very pleasing to be able to promote Nick from within the business and reward his many years of service.
