Okawa Motor Technology bolsters its presence in Europe

Niels van der Steen has joined Okawa’s European team as the new Sales Manager for the Benelux markets (Netherlands & Belgium).

China-headquartered Okawa Motor Technology was founded 2020 and is focused on e-mobility, delivering a full range of relevant products from drive units, display, controllers and a full line of accessories.

Niels van der Steen joined mid-March and made his first appearance at the recently concluded Taipei Cycle Show, where he was already able to initiate some promising collaborations for Okawa.

As a former professional cyclist, he has always been passionate about a career in the bicycle business, which results in an extensive 18 years of experience in the bicycle industry. “My main focus has always been on sales and marketing roles, from setting up an export business from scratch to building a sales and marketing team to support major sales for leading companies,” says van der Steen.
