Oneway Distribution signs deal to ship Newmen products into UK Irish and Benelux markets

German bicycle component label Newmen is set to be distributed to the UK, Irish and Benelux markets thanks to a new deal with Oneway Distribution.

Mick Gratz and Fabian Merz, two ex-Syntace engineers, are the masterminds behind the new label, which has set out with a focus on products like high-end carbon wheels, handlebars, hubs, stems and seat posts, all delivered to the market at a fair price. Newmen’s hubs are 100% made in Germany, including the CNC milling and assembly.

Two highlights of the Newman portfolio include: 

Evolution SL 318.2 stems – a unit claiming to be the lightest 3D forged oversized stem on the market, spanning 69 to 10 grams for sizes ranging 50 to 100mm.

The flared rim profile doesn’t only make this wheel series more durable, it also keep the tyre round increasing the cornering grip. Together with the new Newmen straight pull hubs (pictured) and the 28 Sapim Laser spokes, this wheelset is a lightweight and comfortable ready to race package.
