Pivot to open European distribution centre in Germany
Pivot has revealed plans to open a new operation in Germany to better service dealers across mainland Europe.
As well as supply to German and Austrian dealers, the new facility will further supply the brand’s European distributors.
During the transition period, dealers will be kept stocked by France’s Mohawk’s Cycles who will cover warehousing and fulfillment to Germany and Austria’s dealers during this transition.
“Mohawk’s Cycles already offers incredibly high levels of customer service, technical assistance and sales support to our dealers in France,” said Daniel Limburg, Pivot’s Global Sales Manager. “Now Mohawk’s Cycles will offer the same quality of service and responsiveness to our dealers and riders in Germany and Austria through this transition to our own operation.”
Furthermore, Pivot Cycle’s European demo fleet has added the new Switchblade and the new Firebird to their fleet and increased the number of demonstration dates and locations.
The demo fleet has attended many events this spring, enabling hundreds of European riders the opportunity to ride a Pivot on their hometown trails. The fleet already includes the Enduro Magazine award-winning Mach 4 Carbon, the Mach 429 Trail, the Mach 6 Carbon, and the incredible Phoenix DH Carbon. Now riders may also test the brand new Switchblade with both 29 and 27.5+ wheel sizes and the 170 mm enduro bike Firebird.
