Delivery diversification: Tredz introduces InPost Locker delivery and returns
As the retail landscape evolves, Tredz – part of the Halfords Group – has officially launched a new delivery and returns service for customers via InPost lockers.
Tredz customers will benefit from 24/7 parcel collection and returns at thousands of secure locker locations across the UK.
The new service is designed to make buying and returning cycling gear easier than ever, giving customers more flexibility and less hassle. With secure, self-service lockers available across the country, customers can now collect or return qualifying parcels at a time and place that works for them.
A soft launch began on 22 October, with a select number of qualifying orders gaining early access to the service. Following a successful trial period, InPost is now available for all qualifying orders nationwide.
InPost recently passed the 12,000 lockers milestone in the UK, and in April this year acquired the Yodel logistics business.
Tredz is not the first cycle retailer to take the option – Wiggle is among those in the bike trade that have pioneered using the service.
“At Tredz, every decision we make starts with our customers at heart,” said Kevin Sullivan, Head of Product at Tredz. “Partnering with InPost empowers them to pick up orders on their own terms, with speed, security, and zero delivery stress. It’s another step in redefining what modern e-commerce can feel like in cycling, making the customer experience effortless, secure, and built entirely around their lives, not the other way around.”
The partnership reflects Tredz’s continued investment in convenient, rider-first services – it said – whether that’s in-store, online, or on the go, while aligning with InPost’s mission to make secure, self-service delivery accessible to more customers.
Neil Kuschel, CEO, InPost UK, commented: “Our partnership with Tredz further reinforces our commitment to increasing the availability of our leading locker services to even more UK consumers. With 93 million parcels already delivered or returned via lockers in the last year alone, the appetite for convenient, out-of-home delivery continues to grow. Together, we’re helping Tredz customers enjoy delivery and returns that are fast, simple and always on their schedule.”
Tredz will continue to evolve its delivery and returns offering to meet the changing needs of its growing customer base, delivering the kind of flexibility today’s riders expect.
