Ribble Cycles ups online clout with Google Shopping experts partnership

Google Shopping specialists Dream Agility has signed a “significant” deal with Ribble Cycles.

The Preston business, which last year recorded £16.8 million in sales, is combat online competition utilising the platform, which is said to reduce costs and increase conversion via Google.

Ribble Cycles’ head of acquisition Ciaran Fegan said: “Google Shopping is going to play a key part in us growing our business online, and Dream Agility have been fantastic in helping undertake this challenge.

“Their integration of bidding technology with the Google Shopping feed is going to be a game-changer for online retailers, and Ribble Cycles has a long history of embracing cutting-edge technology. We’re looking forward to a long and rewarding relationship.”

With an online bike builder central to Ribble’s business, the e-tailer looks to defend its business against some increasingly sophisticated online sales methods.

The bike portfolio is assembled in the UK and ship around the globe.

Dream Agility chief executive Elizabeth Clark (pictured) said: “We’re delighted to team up with another booming business.
