Riese & Müller appoints Udo Jankowski to management team
German eBike and cargo bike manufacturer Riese & Müller has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Udo Jankowski.
Effective 1 August, Jankowski will help shape the company’s operational development alongside CEO Sandra Wolf in his new role.
Riese & Müller said Jankowski’s expertise lies in combining engineering excellence, product development and long-term growth, supported by many years of executive experience in the engineering and mobility sectors.
In recent years, Jankowski has been responsible for the overall organisation as Chair of the holding company and Managing Director of its subsidiaries. His experience includes managing global teams, scaling businesses. and initiating and implementing complex innovation and transformation programmes.
Alongside his extensive management experience, Jankowski is also an adjunct professor of Leadership at EBS University of Business and Law in Oestrich-Winkel and EUFH Cologne. He also holds a leadership role within the German Automotive Industry Association (VDA), where he has helped shape the future of the automotive engineering sector for the past eight years as Chair of the Development Service Providers Working Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Wolf said: “Jankowski joins us as a leader who combines technological excellence with entrepreneurial experience. His expertise will drive our future growth in a targeted manner.”

The company added that, following the departure of Heiko Müller from the operational management team on 31 July 2026, the expansion of the management team marks the next phase of Riese & Müller’s development.
