VELO DE VILLE expands VELOWALLET with bike tracking and theft protection

VELO DE VILLE has enhanced the customer experience with the introduction of new features in VELOWALLET, enabling customers and retailers to track the entire journey of a custom-built bike.

With the new features, customers can monitor every stage of their bike’s journey, from production planning and powder coating to assembly and delivery to the specialist retailer, providing greater transparency throughout the production and purchasing process.

According to VELO DE VILLE, the updates also offer benefits for specialist retailers in their day-to-day operations. A centralised overview consolidates all sold bikes along with their specifications, while digital documents and bike-specific manuals are available at any time. Components can also be uniquely identified via QR code, simplifying customer consultations, workshop preparation and service processes.

After delivery, VELOWALLET continues to support the ownership experience. Purchase receipts, service histories, maintenance records and other relevant documents remain permanently accessible and are updated with every visit to the retailer. Automatic inspection reminders help customers keep up with regular maintenance, while dealers can access relevant information before a service appointment.

Additionally, the new VELOWALLET features include digital theft protection. A stolen bike can be reported through the app with just a few clicks. Since servicing and spare parts are provided exclusively through the VELO DE VILLE dealer network—and dealers use VELOWALLET for maintenance and repairs—the likelihood of recovering a stolen bike is increased.

VELO DE VILLE will exhibit at this year’s CIN LIVE 2026, which will take place on 20 and 21 September at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.
