Sea Otter Europe to double up on exhibition space for second event

The second Sea Otter Europe event, set once more for Girona from June 8th to 10th, will double up on last year’s footprint dedicated to exhibition space.

Following hot demand for the 2017 show’s exhibitor paddock the 2018 event will offer up 40,000 m2 of commercial space. Last year some 350 brands attended, according to organisers, meaning that the 2018 event could put the event on course to become on of Europe’s largest demo events.

As a result of the organiser’s reshuffle, the stands featuring bikes, electric bikes, accessories and cycling technology will also occupy part of the esplanade flanking the Ter, a large grassy area that has been redesigned and will continue to host part of the cross country tracks and children’s games area.

As part of the 2017 event, 300 demo bikes from 23 brands were available to the event’s 30,000 visitors to trial over a series of test tracks. For 2018, the event will create new test zones a stone’s throw from the brand tents.

In the next few days, Sea Otter Europe will release its schedule of activities, exhibitions and sporting events. Earlier this year 4,130 cyclists took part in 11 sporting events ranging from popular and family events, classic bikes and cycle tourism to some of the most important competitions on the international circuit.

This and many other key industry events are now listed in CyclingIndustry.News’ Trade Calendar.
