We are looking for a Senior Sales Advisor with bags of enthusiasm for cycling to join our growing business. This exciting role is all about enhancing the experience of visitors to Giant York, by offering an unrivalled, tailored service and by maintaining the appearance of our vibrant store. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for gaining product knowledge and an enthusiasm for the Giant brand and cycling. Through this and by understanding and engaging with customers’ cycling aspirations, the Senior Sales Advisor will maximise sales and help people establish their cycling adventures. The candidate will be responsible for front of house operations and administration, engaging with customers, and making sure every customer has a great experience in store.
This role is full-time, with a minimum of 40 hours per week up to a maximum of 42 hours per week for the right candidate.
The ability to deliver exceptional service is essential, and you must have some experience in a customer-facing sales role. You will be a natural communicator, and able to discuss and appreciate customers’ cycling aspirations in order to help them to find the perfect bike, gear or accessories. You will be joining a small team in what can be a very busy sales environment so you will need to thrive on the demands of this. A keen, active interest in some form of cycling is also important to us.
An eye for merchandising is important, in addition to attention to detail and sharing our pride in the appearance of the store. An aptitude for systems and following processes is desirable, although full training will be given. Above all, we need someone who loves cycling and who is able to share their enthusiasm with our customers and our cycling community.
