Silverfish to launch the new Yeti SB130 at The Cycle Show

The UK distributor of Yeti confirmed this morning they already have one of Yeti’s latest model, the SB130, in the country. They will be displaying it at this years’  and with stock due at the end of September, retailers will be able to order right away. The SB130 is priced at £3,299 as a frame only, or as a complete bike from £4,999 to £6,999 (SSP inc VAT).

Conceived on “rowdy Colorado trails” the model is said to handle technical climbing, high-speed descents and big terrain. Using the manufacturers Switch Infinity suspension and featuring progressive geometry, it has 77-degree seat angle and big wheels for climbing. While slightly shorter chainstays, slack headtube angle, long reach and a 44mm offset fork for great handling on the downhill.

Like many longer travel trail or enduro bikes, it features 148/12 Boost rear hub and an a-symmetric travel set up –  130mm rear and 150mm up front. It’s available as Turq-Series or Carbon-Series colourways in complete bikes and as a frame in Turquiose, Raw and Spruce.

Like all 2019 Yeti frames it comes with a “No fine print” Lifetime Warranty with just a few conditions: “Warranty does not cover damage due to ordinary wear and tear, neglect or intentional destruction, from a slingshot or your truck.”
