Simon Homer becomes Specialized UK managing director

Simon Homer is to become Specialized UK’s new managing director, starting November 7th.

Joining from TaylorMade Adidas Golf where he also held the MD role, Homer is now tasked with returning the business to a market leadership position, as well as “rebuilding confidence within the team”.

Having worked in senior management throughout a large portion of his career, Homer describes himself as a keen road cyclists and golfer.

Homer seaid of the role: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the UK Specialized team. As a passionate cyclist I have always had great admiration for Specialized. I am attracted by the core values and passion for both the rider and our independent bike dealers.  I really look forward to becoming part of the Specialized way and to meeting and getting to know everyone next month.”
