Taipei Cycle 2020 takes to the road with seminar for Japanese & Korean manufacturers

Taipei cycle organisers are set to unveil plans for 2020 in a global series of seminars, the first of which is taking place in Seoul, Korea, on 20th June.

Representatives from Japanese and Korean cycling and sporting goods industries will get an early insight into what to expect at Taipei Cycle Show 2020. Other seminars confirmed so far include: ShimanoFest, Brazil; Los Angeles Seminar, USA; Eurobike, Germany, and the Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver, Canada.

Seminar attendees will also be briefed on the highlights from 2019’s show, which saw a 22.6% increase in overseas ad domestic buyers compared to the previous year.

Taipei Cycle 2020 will be held once more in Halls 1&2 of the Nangang Exhibition Centre from 4-7 March, with more than 1,250 exhibitors from 35 countries showcasing innovations in bicycles, parts and accessories, IoT solutions and software, e-bikes and drive units.

Next year’s show will also host Japan and Korea pavilions where buyers can find their target manufacturers in one convenient location.

Also returning for 2020 will be the Taipei Cycle Forum sessions, taking place 5-6 March, while the pre-show demo day will be incorporated into the main show across all four days. Additional ‘catwalk shows’ will be integrated in to next year’s show to showcase the latest trends from cycling apparel and accessories manufacturers.

Jasmine Wu, Taipei Cycle Show PR Manager, said: “Taipei Cycle Show provides brand owners, buyers and distributors opportunities for networking, meeting peers, discovering emerging technologies and discussing current global influences on the industry, which are second to none.

“We look forward to meeting long-standing and prospective exhibitors at our seminar in Seoul later this week.”
