Supermarket giant Tesco has been under fire on social media for booting out a customer carrying a Brompton.
With numerous people jumping to the cyclist’s defence, the majority have been quick to point out that larger wheeled vehicles, trolleys and prams in particular, are ubiqitous, therefore Tesco’s Health and Safety arguement becomes invalid.
Others joked that the purchase of a 5p bag to conceal the bike might change the supermarket’s stance.
