THOK Tribe 2022 draws almost 400 riders to the Dolomiti di Brenta
Italian e-bike manufacturer Thok hosted the 4th edition of its Thok Tribe event, attended by a fanbase comprising media, trade and customers from across Europe.
The annual gathering of ‘Thokers’ – owners of Thok e-bikes – which this year welcomed nearly 400 people, is, first and foremost, an opportunity for the Alba-based company to get meet and ride with their customers. The idea is simple; hosting a gathering to share the common passion for biking, in an unforgettable location, across a weekend, gathering together in the name of cycling, food, drink and great company. For many it’s also an opportunity to meet with the entire Thok staff, who are first and foremost, e-MTB enthusiasts, led by CEO Stefano Migliorini – former BMX world champion and pioneer of the Downhill World Cup.
UK distributor Windwave had Thok Brand Manager Dan Jones and Windwave Tech Manager Aaron Ponsford attending the event, getting first hand experience of Thok Tribe Italian e-mtb experience.
“The event (is) a real testament to Thok’s efforts on building a community around their amazing e-bikes. The turnout was incredible and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. It’s no wonder the brand is making such great headway in the UK as well”, says Dan.
As an ever-expanding event the team at Thok have also attracted developed the concept to enable international press attendance, with a dedicated the press day preceding the weekend. This year saw twenty invited media guests greeted by Stefania De Toma Migliorini, Head of Marketing and Communication, and the wider THOK team, in prime mountain biking terrain, as the perfect opportunity to assess THOK’s ‘Performance First’, claim across its range of e-bikes.
