Bosch eBIke ABS at The Cycle Show
After announcing the market launch of their Anti-lock Braking System for eBikes (ABS) just this summer, Bosch is offering visitors to The Cycle Show the opportunity to trial an eBike equipped with their new ABS system for the very first time – on a designated ABS Test Track. Claus Fleischer, CEO of Bosch eBike Systems, enthuses of the potential of ABS in the current cycling climate: “Safety is an important factor in ensuring that this trendsetting form of mobility becomes sustainable on the market. I am convinced that ABS will become standard equipment on high-end pedelecs; in a few years, most city and trekking eBikes will be equipped with ABS.”
Bosch eMTB Test Track
Bosch’s eMTB Test Track will also be returning to The Cycle Show for another year. Bringing outdoor trail features inside, the indoor track will be crafted using over 400 tons of earth and will boast a 4-metre climb, several berms, a rock garden, and much, much more. The track has been designed and will be constructed by BMX dirt jumping legend Kye Forte. Visitors to the show will be able to experience eMountain Biking on the latest eMTBs from Cube, Cannondale and Corratec, with more brands to be announced.
New for 2019 – Kiox and Fast Charge
As well as the ABS and eMTB Test Tracks, Bosch eBike Systems will also be exhibiting their new-for-2019 products at the show – including the new on-board computer Kiox and Fast Charger; currently the fastest eBike charger in its class. Specialist Bosch eBike staff will also be on hand to answer any questions visitors may have regarding Bosch’s eBike System, its individual components and software updates, for example.
Bosch eBike systems will be positioned on booth K65 at The Cycle Show.
