Velorbis to open Copenhagen brand store, tempts customers with free beer Fridays
Danish bicycle brand Velorbis is to open an own-brand store in Copenhagen.
Designed in Denmark and made in Germany, the specialist in about town bikes is to open the branch in a bid to lure customers in to demo any of the 22 different models now in the range, including the firm’s latest foray into electrified cargo trikes.
Writing to his LinkedIn page, director Kenneth Bødiker alluded to a novel way to drive footfall thanks to a tie up with local brewer Carlsberg.
He said: “We’ll open the doors at the end of April, when we’ll also be introducing a new bike rental concept with Carlsberg! Oh and we‘ll also be launching a new weekly Friday bar, sponsored by Carlsberg, where everyone can stop by for a free drink and a chat about cycling in wonderful Copenhagen.”
The store will be found at Frederiksborggade 31 in central Copenhagen once open.
