Wahoo launches new ELEMNT BOLT GPS bike computer

Wahoo has announced the launch of its new GPS bike computer, the ELEMNT BOLT, featuring a crisp colour display, intuitive interface, and expanded navigation features.

Boasting a 2.2” inch, 64-colour, high-contrast screen made from scratch resistant gorilla glass, the new ELEMNT BOLT device allows riders to change destinations, route back to the start, and retrace their rides without having to use their phone. Additionally, its waterproof body (IPX7) means that it can be used in all weather conditions.

Whilst the new ELEMNT BOLT features the same design of the original BOLT from Wahoo, the new device now maintains an updated user interface that offers customisable, colour-highlighted fields that make it easier for the rider to focus on specific data metrics.

Quick View LEDs on the top of the screen provide turn-by-turn directions, signal approaching Strava Live segments, and provide notifications to the rider. Furthermore, a built in light sensor automatically adjusts the backlight to make sure that the screen is always visible. The BOLT GPS also has a 15-hour runtime and onboard memory increased to 16GB.

Riders can pair the Wahoo ELEMNT app with the new Bolt GPS which will allow them to customise their data screens, sync routes, and analyse data.

Megan Powers, Wahoo ELEMNT Product Manager, said: “BOLT has always been known for its sleek form factor, as well as its ease-of-use. We’re excited to add features that Wahooligans have been clamouring for, including a thoughtful use of colour on the display, and Smart Navigation in a package that looks great on any bike. Like all of our ELEMNT GPS devices, BOLT integrates into the whole Wahoo ecosystem, whether you’re using the Multisport Handover mode to seamlessly track data in triathlon, or to control your KICKR.”

The new ELEMNT BOLT (RRP £249.99) is available for purchase now at Wahoo dealers and at Wahoofitness.com.
