Weldtite to launch new Bike Cleaner and ceramic frame protection

Due next month, UK maker of bike care and performance solutions Weldtite will bring to market two new lines – a concentrate Bike Cleaner and a new ceramic frame shield.

To mark the launch to visitors of the Eurobike show, the brand was handing our alcohol-free Mojitos to draw attention to the citrus scented cleaners, which are offered up as one litre concentrate bottles that are capable of producing up to ten litres of cleaner. Having invested in onsite mixing, the product has been 18 months in the works.

Though likely not as refreshing as the Mojitos, Weldtite Sales and Marketing Manager Dan Leather said that the formula is entirely non toxic and notably spun the bottles to reveal that none of the usual indicators of toxins need feature on the labelling. “The final label will not need to carry a single warning statement,” he said. The result is a Vegan friendly and animal cruelty free blend with no lasting environmental effects.

Bottles will be sold at £9.99 for a pre-mix, or £24.99 for the economical concentrate; all of which will be sold by distributor Raleigh.

Next up, Weldtite also debuted a Rapid Ceramic Shield product, again with the same eco-conscious credentials. This protective layer is simply sprayed on to the supplied cloth, buffed on and left to dry. Thereafter, water and grime should bead off the bike upon contact, making it extremely suitable for the cleaning shy customers. A box including all the kit will retail at £19.99.

Finally, the brand has worked on a few impulse purchase point of sale lines for its lubricants and tubeless products. With the buy in of ten units comes a free countertop POS.

Since the 2021 buyout by Paul Davis, the brand has gone all guns blazing on upping its UK production effort, now producing all of its liquid formulas domestically.
