Wuerthele appointed Yuba’s Eastern US Sales Rep

Yuba Bicycles has announced Jeff Wuerthele is appointed the company’s Eastern US Sales Representative, effective immediately.

Wuerthele’s responsibilities will include developing dealer relations and consumer demand throughout the region.

Bringing an extensive 20-year background in the cycling industry, Wuerthele brings huge amount of experience to the Yuba team. In his most recent roles, he represented Bicycle Times and Dirt Rag as advertising and event sales. He has also previously represented Kona, Fox Racing and Diamondback.

Wuerthele said: “The timing is perfect. I am thrilled to represent Yuba Bikes and contribute to this emerging bicycle and lifestyle category.”

Founded in 2006 by entrepreneur Ben Sarrazin, Yuba Bicycles aims to “bring the European cycling lifestyle and utility to the States” through the manufacturing of award-winning and environmentally sustainable pedal and electric cargo bikes.

Sarrazin said of Wuerthele’s hire: “Jeff brings a ton of positive energy and proven bicycle sales experience. He lives the Yuba lifestyle in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, where he gets around mostly by bike. We are pleased to have Jeff join the team representing Yuba in markets East of the Mississippi.”

At the start of the year, the bicycle brand relocated its headquarters, up-sizing its operations at a new plot in Cotati, CA.
