The Accell Group has bolstered its management structure with the appointment of Wouter Jager as Brand and Marketing Director .
Currently Managing Director Commerce at Accell Netherlands, Jager will transfer this role to Huub Snellen, the current Managing Director of Operations. This role change will be effective as of January 1st.
Bicycle Retailer and Industry News are also reporting that Accell’s North America omni-channel strategy for Raleigh will now include Amazon for models largely found below the $800 price mark.
Raleigh USA dealers had been selling the brand via the platform for some time, something Chris Speyer, MD of Accell North America said has prompted a change in policy.
He told BRaIN: “What we’ve done is extended it to make sure the product is available through that channel.
“We completely understand that not everybody will like the decision. On the other hand, we want to make sure we’re making the brand available to consumers.”
