ACT warns of insurance firms misrepresenting relationship with biz support org
The Association of Cycle Traders has moved to distance itself from an insurance firm claiming to be an affiliate of the business support organisation.
Having been made aware of claims by an unnamed broker that the two where linked, the ACT has reaffirmed that Butterworth Spengler remains the organisation’s sole insurance relationship.
The business organisation said: “The ACT, via business support partner ActSmart, have a long standing relationship with insurance specialists Butterworth Spengler to provide the ideal insurance solution to cycle retailers.
“Specialist Brokers Butterworth Spengler have recently reviewed their scheme arrangement and are now partnering with RSA Insurance Group. This scheme is the only insurance arrangement the ACT refer to as their preferred partner.”
