Bikebook workshop management portal launched

Bikebook has launched a workshop management solution – Bikebook Portal – aimed at helping both independent mechanics and bike shops to simplify the service booking experience.

Bikebook Portal, embedded into the customer facing Bikebook website, enables mechanics to directly take and manage bookings, supporting the development of an online presence, and business growth.

Mechanics can display their availability, giving customers an up-to-date ‘live view’ of when their bicycle can be repaired.

  • The calendar can be integrated with Microsoft, Apple, and Google calendars.
  • The booking widget can be embedded directly into a website
  • Can also be set up using a unique and customisable booking URL which provides “book now buttons” – generates bookings through social media pages.

Importantly, no coding is required.

The system offers mechanics the option to accept or reject a job, or make alternative arrangements, using the inbuilt chat and service tracker.

Furthermore, using the service tracker, the customer can get real time updates of their service and organise any additional work with the mechanic.

The system has been developed to support:

  • Mobile mechanics, enabling the setting of a catchment area
  • Shop, setting a fixed location, also supporting and enabling pick up and drop off service options

Bikebook portal aims to simplify the service booking experience – from booking to collection – for both cyclists and mechanics, helping improve a mechanic’s day-to-day administrative efficiency.
