BikeID awarded top honours at Cardano Summit 2025

Polish tech company BikeID has won the Battle of the Builders competition at the Cardano Summit 2025.

BikeID creates a unique digital identity for every bicycle by assigning a Bicycle Identification Number (BIN) – the cycling world’s equivalent of a VIN. Each bike is equipped with a specialised NFC/RFID tag, while its identity, provenance, ownership history and service records are secured through blockchain technology to ensure tamper-proof traceability.

For manufacturers and retailers, BikeID provides a powerful platform that verifies bicycle authenticity and origin, strengthens anti-theft protection for riders and enables digital ownership and warranty services. It also supports the development of new aftersales programmes, including insurance, service plans and financing, underpinned by a permanent digital record of each bike’s history.

BikeID is already working with leading manufacturers and major retail chains in Poland, and BikeID Kits are available in bicycle stores nationwide.
