BPSA publishes e-bike series to Myagi training platform

The Bicycle Product Suppliers Association has published a series of ten two-minute electric bike dedicated videos, each detailing a new angle in how to monetise the segment.

In the first of the series the presenters outline that, while selling just 200,000 or around 1% of U.S. sales at present, “the average selling price of $2,700 represents 10% of $ sales” and a “welcome replacement for slowing sales of other high-end bikes.”

The e-bike committee of the BPSA decided to push forward with the series having approved a spend during the December E-Bike Summit.

Now live on the Myagi training portal, shop staff are invited to interact with the content and take a series of quizzes. The content is also soon to appear on Trek, Specialized, Giant, Raleigh Electric and Bosch’s training portals too.

“We’re very proud to partner with the BPSA to offer the e-bike training content to help retailers take advantage of the rapidly growing e-bike trend and better serve their customers,” said Simon Turner, Myagi’s co-founder and president. Myagi is a global online training platform specialty training site, with 10,000 participating retailers and content from over 100 brands.
