Brose eBike division appoints new head of business unit

Dr. Daniel Wolde-Giorgis is the new head of Brose eBike business unit, one part of the German electric motor manufacturers wider business interests.

The business is unique in producing motors in Germany, supplying more than 200 million electric motors and drives every year.

Profile pictureOn joining Brose, Wolde-Giorgis brings 18 years of experience and expertise in the automotive and eBike sectors – seen as the perfect experience for leading Brose eBike development. Of the appointment, Wolde-Giorgis is said to be particularly looking forward to further advancing Brose as a system provider for eBikes, as well as strategically expanding the range of services in order to create real added value for Brose customers. In addition to leading the development of Brose as a system provider, Wolde-Giorgis will also undertake work promoting eBikes.

Wolde-Giorgis previously worked at the Bosch Automotive Electronics division, with a focus on electromobility and Semiconductor development. After various management positions, in 2018 he became Head of product management for connected devices at Bosch eBike Systems.
