Burley goes all terrain with a plus size tyre upgrade

While not launching any new trailers at Interbike, Burley has shown an upgrade item that will open up new terrain to its trailers – a new plus size wheel upgrade.

Focusing on upgrading its line to add versatility, a Burley spokesperson said: “These trailers are investments for parents and we were finding with the thinner wheel they could be limited over certain terrain. With the upgrades we’ve brought in we’re allowing families to use the product to the limit of their imagination, opening up beaches and snow for the first time.”

Other upgrade pieces now coming to market are a thru axle adapter product, weather resistant storage bags with handles to hang the folded trailer in a garage, as well as wheel guards on the Travoy to ensure wider bags are not scuffed in transit.
