Chapter2 launches ultra versatile KAHA gravel frameset
Kiwi brand Chapter2 has announced the launch of its ‘go fast, go explore’ bike, the KAHA, engineered for speed and versatility.
The KAHA frameset has been designed and engineered to work seamlessly with the Chapter2 MANA-GRVL Bar, creating a Gravel Racer with all the cables and hydraulic hoses concealed within the frame and handlebar.
As gravel evolves, there has been some controversy surrounding what can and cannot, or should and should not, be used in a gravel race.
Aerobars, which can be fitted to the MANA-GRVL Bar, take one step forward and show yourselves….
Whatever your view, accepting few of us are elite level racers, there is no denying that being able to fit an aero bar, for ultra distance, mixed surface, riding, when paired with multiple frame bags, certainly has appeal.
The KAHA has been also been engineered with multiple mounting points on the frame, including top tube ‘bento box’ bolt points, 3 frame based bottle cage options, and fork based mounting points.
In addition to this downtube storage has been added, offering up space for essential items such as a Mini-Tool, C02 Cannisters, Mini-Pump, Tubes etc. Each frameset comes with a padded storage bag that fits snuggly into the storage space so that all your stowed items are protected and easily accessible whilst out on the trail.
Did I forget to mention mudguards? Yeah, they work there way in here as well. ‘Ultra versatile’ by name, ultra versatile by nature.
The KAHA frameset come in 2 paint options; Tuauriuri, which is glossy black, and Kapua, which is grey blue, across a 5 size XS-XL range.
Initial orders are now being taken for a first run of framesets totalling 70 units (42 grey blue / 28 glossy black). Shipping of ordered framesets will begin at the end of April 2023.
