Chicken Cyclekit appointed Michelin distributor

Chicken Cyclekit has revealed that it has been signed as one of just 14 Gold Distributors worldwide and is now set up to wholesale the brand, alongside Raleigh, in the UK.

Being a Gold distributor permits Chicken Cyclekit to sell exclusive lines, including the premium Power line. Select mountain bike lines will also go through the Leighton Buzzard distributor.

Originally designed for the brand’s performance car tyre lines, the Power range is specced to reduce rolling resistance by 25% on a 25mm tyre over standard models. The brand calculates this to equate to a 10 watt energy saving, or 54 seconds over the length of the Alpe D’Huez.

Also new for 2016 is the specialist exclusive Krylion 2 tyre.  The Krylion 2 range will offer a protected margin and is a performance tyre similar to the PRO 4 endurance, available in 3 widths.
