Sea Otter Europe sees further growth with strong return exhibitor base

With 95% of the brands who attending Sea Otter Europe 2022 returning for 2023 the Girona based event is now opening registration for new brands that were not present at the 2022 edition.

The high demand for what will be the 7th edition of the festival, despite having once again increased the number of square metres of exhibition space, means event organisers have once again been asked to hire more square metres for the event site.

The 2022 edition of Sea Otter Europe Girona Costa Brava by Continental and Euro Mobility Festival saw an already expanded event footprint – some 30% growth in footprint – go on to sell out, well before opening day.

Attending the 2022 edition it was easy to see why the event is tracking an upward trajectory, combining elite and recreational sport, providing a sizeable range of demo bike options, across a host of brands, including the dedicated active travel focused Euro Mobility Festival, combined with the opportunity to see Girona Old Town on a bike, and few would argue that the event and location deliver for all involved, including some 60’000 attendees over the course of 3 days.

Sea Otter Europe: connecting industry and enthusiasts alike.

In an increasingly digital world, where many brands are distributed exclusively online, the festival represents a great opportunity for brands to meet the public, and, in many cases, potential buyers know and see their favourite bikes on social networks.

The Demobike format – offered by Sea Otter Europe with more than 40 brands and 500 test bikes of all kinds – is one of the pillars of success, both for potential buyers and for the brands themselves.

For potential buyers, irrespective of the brands distribution channel, the opportunity to try bikes out, getting hands on, test them in the field, is part of the final evaluation process. Adding the opportunity to receive technical explanations from the mechanics and experts of each brand who attend, makes for a strong commercial platform.
