CyclingIndustry.News recruits Liberty Sheldon to staff writer role
CyclingIndustry.News is pleased to announce a new addition to our editorial team, with University graduate Liberty Sheldon joining as a staff writer.
CI.N Editor Mark Sutton welcomed Liberty, offering: “Like Hayley before her, Liberty joins us as a University graduate with work experience that impressed; most notably an impromptu cornering of politician Nigel Farage in a segment delivered as part of her work experience with ITV Channel Islands. We’re confident that she’ll quickly adapt to the role, having expressed an interest in many of the issues the cycling market is addressing daily, from sustainability to the politics surrounding creating better conditions for those taking to two wheels.”
Originally from Guernsey, Sheldon is a recent Graduate from the University of Winchester where she studied Media, Communications and Journalism.
Sheldon replaces staff writer Hayley Everett, who has been with CI.N for the past two years, but is now moving to London to pursue a career with a title specialising in 3D Printing.
Sutton added: “I want to thank Hayley not only for her work for CI.N, but for truly embracing becoming part of the cycling industry during her time with us. She will be missed by the many who have worked alongside her, I’m sure.”
Sheldon said of taking the role: “I’m excited to get some published articles under my belt, to get to know the cycling and mobility markets a little better and to travel to new places as a reporter.”
