Destination Sport Experiences buys Sportive Breaks

Destination Sport Experiences has announced the acquisition of cycling tour firm Sportive Breaks, handing the travel group a far broader range of performance products for cyclists looking to participate in events such as the Mallorca 312, L’Etape du Tour, Paris Roubaix, Nove Colli and La Marmotte.

While the travel market has been turbulent and some long-standing operators have not survived the choppy conditions, the deal marks the start of what the pairing hope will be a revival in trade as border restrictions steadily loosen.

Si Teasdale, International Operations Manager at Destination Sport Experiences, said: “We are delighted to be able to assist customers of Sportive Breaks and confirm their trips for 2022 and beyond. We take pride in the quality of our services and are excited to be able to move forward with new events and be able to offer even more incredible experiences to even more customers.”

Sportive Breaks has been operational since 2015 and has over time added several sportive rides across Europe, each offering its customers the chance to secure race entries and hotels within seconds of them becoming available.

The firm has consistently been awarded the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for its products. Throughout the pandemic it has offered a Covid guarantee for refunds on travel and hotel packages.

Customers with outstanding credit are to be contacted by the Destination Sport Experiences team shortly. Alternatively the team is contactable by email here.
