DT Swiss launch e-bike specific HU 1900 SPLINE wheelset
DT Swiss today introduces a brand new e-bike specific wheelset – the HU 1900 SPLINE – engineered to meet the demands of an ever widening range of e-bike applications.
As e-touring bikes become more and more capable, carrying heavier loads and riding further, often on rougher tracks, this first-generation of Hybrid Utility wheels sets the benchmark for an urban & trekking-ready wheelset.
The HU 1900 SPLINE – certified for a maximum system weight of 180 kg – has been engineered and tested to deliver an e-bike specific wheel which is able to cope with increased loads:
Featuring:
- A thicker rim cross section, available in 622 x 25 mm and 584 x 35 mm
- Reinforced 2.34 mm spokes
- The 370 hub, with 18T Ratchet System
The reinforced components of the HU 1900 SPLINE have been engineered, developed and tested to cope with the specific requirements imposed on wheels by e-touring bikes, ensuring drive and brake torque resistance, even when carrying higher loads.
The HU 1900 SPLINE wheels – hand laced by professionally trained wheel builders – are built for longevity, with the reliability coming from the quality of their assembly.
