Elvedes expands catalogue of electric bike brake pads

Having first debuted electric bike brake pads in 2017 Elvedes has expanded upon its catalogue of metallic compound pads, catering for the most popular brakes on the market.

Available to the UK cycle trade via The Cycle Division, the low noise, high stopping power pads are available in workshop boxes of 10 and 25 for the most popular sellers. What’s more, each set comes with all the additional hardware; retaining pins, clips and springs.

E-bikes are generally heavier and many owners of such bikes can get to higher speeds much quicker and more often. Therefore, with the added load, e-Bikes may have to brake harder, putting more pressure on the disc pads. With standard pads users may find themselves having to change pads frequently and potentially finding them to be ineffective solutions in the first place.

It is with this in mind that the European spares and accessories maker has developed electric bike brake pads with a metallic compound, giving better braking and service life.

To enquire about stock, shops can now contact the sales team at The Cycle Division on 01484 665055.
