Mondraker launches sub 20kg Crafty Carbon e-Bike
Mondraker has launched what it claims is the lightest full e-Bike on the market, and the first at sub 20kg, equipped with a full 625Wh battery and fourth generation Bosch CX motor.
A performance trail bike, the Crafty Carbon features World Cup developed suspension and geometry, 29″ wheels and hand-picked e-compatible componentry.
Despite its light weight, the Crafty Carbon still packs a performance punch on the trails according to the brand, due to integrating the latest Bosch power unit and battery combination to provide riders with 25% more battery life, increased power and less drag.
The Crafty Carbon is designed around a full Stealth Air Carbon Fibre frame utilising the same high-end materials as the brand’s XC machines. The e-Bike is equipped with Mondraker’s well-known Forward Geometry and 29″ wheels, while Boost hubs and oversized pivot axles running on Enduro Max bearings deliver 150mm of rear wheel travel.
Upfront a 160mm travel FOX 36 fork with a short 44mm offset soaks up rough terrain and maintains steering precision.
The Crafty comes in sizes small, medium and large, with the Crafty model RR SL weighing in at 19.9kg.
