e*Thirteen introduces lifetime warranty on carbon wheels and rims

Announced today, e*Thirteen has introduced lifetime warranty backup for the original purchaser on all of its carbon rims and wheels.

Now over two years into sales of carbon wheels and rims, the brand has achieved a warranty rate shy of 1% and, with claims to have made dramatic improvements on strength over early products, the firm is now confident enough to offer customers the added peace of mind.

“After Aaron Gwin won his second World Cup Championship aboard our carbon Race wheels, we have no reason to offer anything less than a lifetime warranty on all of our carbon wheels and rims,” said the brand.

Warranty is handled via UK distributor Silverfish with the following conditions:

Complete e*thirteen wheels:
Under 1 year old: When a rim failure occurs, the original purchaser will be sent a complete new wheel and call tag to return the wheel with the failed rim to Silverfish UK.

Over 1 year old: When a rim failure occurs, the original purchaser will be sent a replacement rim and call tag to return the failed rim to Silverfish UK. The cost of the rebuild is the responsibility of the rider.
