Citrus-Lime launches smartphone stock take app

E-Commerce and ePos experts Citrus-Lime have announced a new mobile-based Stocktake App.

Having taken soundings from the trade on where assistance is most needed, retailers repeatedly criticised the user experience and cost of traditional stock take scanners.

Designed to work with both Microsoft RMS and Citrus-Lime Cloud POS, the free app is now ready for Android and iOS devices.

The app is further expected to be versatile enough to work with non Citrus-Lime stock control software, so the firm encourages those in the trade to download and have a go even if they are not a customer.

“Our free stock take app is intended to make it easier for retailers to maintain accurate stock levels and by extension, tighter controls of everything that affects. It makes regular stock checks faster and easier than a paper-based approach, without the need to spend hundreds of pounds on renting or purchasing a specific stock take device. No one really enjoys a stock take, but they’re an essential part of running a retail business, so we’re committed to making it as easy and affordable as possible for our clients,” said Citrus-Lime’s David Gaule.
