Gazelle bolsters electric commuter bike options with the Arroyo

Gazelle has this week lifted the lid on a new flagship electric bike for the commuter market, debuting the $3,499 Arroyo.

Though dependent on the local topography, Gazelle says it has now achieved a 90-mile range from the 400-watt battery and Bosch Performance Line motor. With 50 Nm of torque, pedal assistance is delivered in four levels, adjustable via bar mounted controls. Further assistance is available via a Shimano eight-speed gearhub.

The frame is designed stable, lightweight, and oversized – constructed out of aluminum with a 68.5° headset angle and 69.5° saddle tube angle for relaxed and comfortable riding. The frame offers a low and spacious step-through, single tube and integrated cables. Magura brakes complete the build, ensuring fast and smooth braking.

The Arroyo is the first model of Gazelle’s new line of e-bikes entering the USA market
